Coming for Therapy

Therapy can be a meaningful and life-changing process, but at times may be difficult and challenging, which calls for some commitment and courage.

Whatever the reason that has led you to search for a therapist, I can offer you a confidential space where we can explore and reflect upon the challenges you are facing together and help to make sense of the feelings you may be experiencing in a safe and welcoming environment.

The most important aspect for a successful therapy outcome is the relationship between the client and the therapist itself. It is therefore advisable that you make an appointment for an initial face-to face consultation and pay attention to how you feel with me or any other therapist and if you have a sense that you can develop a trusting relationship with them over time.

Ideally, we will be able to develop a relationship in which you will feel free to tell me if something is not working for you, you are angry or frustrated with me or anything else that happens in our relationship. This can all be very useful information for the therapy process and if you feel, it will be important to explore it.
